A touching story: say I LOVE YOU
After 21 years of marriage, my wife wanted me to take another woman
out to dinner and a movie. She said I love you but I know this other
woman loves you and would love to spend some time with you.
The other woman that my wife wanted me to visit was my MOTHER, who has
been a widow for 19 years, but the demands of my work and my three
children had made it impossible to visit her, only occasionally.
That night I called to invite her to go out for dinner and a movie.
"What's wrong, are you well," she asked? My mother is the type of
woman who suspects that a late night call or a surprise invitation is a
sign of bad news.
"I thought that it would be pleasant to spend some time with you," I
responded. "Just the two of us."
She thought ! about it f or a moment, and then said, "I would like
that very much."
That Friday after work, as I drove over to pick her up I was a bit
nervous. When I arrived at her house, I noticed that she, too, seemed
to be nervous about our date. She waited in the door with her coat on.
She had curled her hair and was wearing the dress that she had worn to
celebrate her last wedding anniversary. She smiled from a face that was
as radiant as an angel's.
"I told my friends that I was going to go out with my son, and they
were impressed, "she said, as she got into the car. "They can't wait to
hear about our meeting".
We went to a restaurant that, although not elegant, was very nice and
cozy. My mother took my arm as if she were the First Lady. After we sat
down, I had to read the menu. Her eyes could only read large print.
Half way through the entries , I lifted my eyes and saw Mom sitting
there staring at me. A nostalgic smile was on her lips.
"It was I who used to have to read the menu when you were small," she
said.
"Then it's time that you relax and let me return the favor," I
responded.
During the dinner, we had an agreeable conversation - nothing
extraordinary, but catching up on recent events of each other's life.
We talked so much that we missed the movie.
As we arrived at her house later, she said, "I'll go out with you
again, but only if you let me invite you." I agreed.
"How was your dinner date?" asked my wife when I got home.
"Very nice. Much more so than I could have imagined," I answered.
A few days later, my mother died of a massive heart attack. It happened
so suddenly that I didn't have a chance to do anything for her.
Some time later, I received an envelope with a copy of a restaurant
receipt from the same place mother and I had dined.
An attached note said: "I paid this bill in advance. I wasn't sure
that I could be there; but nevertheless, I paid for two plate s - one
for you and the other for your wife. You will never know what that
night meant for me. I love you, son."
At that moment, I understood the importance of saying in
time: "I LOVE YOU!" and to give our loved ones the time that they
deserve. Nothing in life is more important than God and your family.
Give them the time they deserve, because these things cannot be put off
till "some other time

Dr.M: Fuel Price WRONG !! ....
Is this what Dr. Mahathir trying to say ??
hint: who is the one who control the Ringgit , BNM Gabenor ??
you are half-true... who is the Gabenor's boss??
Via: TheStar
PUTRAJAYA: The 30 sen fuel increase could have been avoided if the ringgit was strengthened against the US dollars by fixing the local currency exchange rate.
Former Prime Minister Tun Dr Mahathir Mohamad said the increase was inevitable as the ringgit was “tied almost rigidly” to the US currency, hence when the price of oil quoted in the greenback went up, so did the fuel price here.
“If Malaysian currency is strengthened, the increase in prices in US dollars will not cause such a big increase in oil price paid in the ringgit.
“Our money is undervalued. If our currency is strengthened, the price of oil here will not go up so high,” he told reporters after a dialogue session with University Malaya’s student council members at the Perdana Leadership Foundation Wednesday.
On Feb 28, the Government had announced an increase in the price of petrol to RM1.92 a litre and diesel to RM1.58. Crude oil prices had soared to over US$62.91 (RM232) a barrel recently.

MP Supports Fuel Price Hike Up To 40 Sen A Litre
KUALA LUMPUR, March 14 (Bernama) -- A government backbencher said the price of fuel should be raised by 40 sen a litre as the savings from the increase can be used to develop the country.
Datuk Che Min Che Ahmad (BN-Pasir Puteh) said the 15 sen savings from every litre of fuel used in the country can be spent for the people's well-being.
"I praise the government's move to raise prices of petrol and petroleum-based products by 30, In fact, even if it is raised by 40 sen, it's okay," he told the Dewan Rakyat.
For the voter of Pasir Puteh... please say thank you to your MP...

Want to make Malaysia as an education hub, but send own daughter to oversea for study .. Cakap tak serupa Bikin...

KUALA LUMPUR: Education Minister Datuk Seri Hishammuddin Tun Hussein was all smiles as he spoke of his daughter Nasha Alyssa obtaining nine 1As in the Sijil Pelajaran Malaysia (SPM) examination.
“My wife (Datin Seri Tengku Marsilla Tengku Abdullah) and I are very happy and proud of our daughter. She has worked very hard.
“When we told her about her results on Sunday night, she was overjoyed,” he said when met outside Parliament yesterday.
Hishammuddin said Nasha Alyssa was currently taking the Trinity College Foundation Studies Programme in Melbourne.
Tengku Marsilla said Nasha Alyssa had always done well in public examinations, scoring eight As in Penilaian Menengah Rendah and five As in Ujian Pencapaian Sekolah Rendah.
“She has always been a conscientious student,” she said.
Speaking to reporters later after the opening of the new Dewan Rakyat session, Hishammuddin said the improved performance of students in rural areas was a positive sign for the Government’s efforts to narrow the gap between urban and rural schools.
“I hope in the next 15 years, we will be able to upgrade them,” he said, adding that rural schools would be given more focus under the Ninth Malaysia Plan.
