Mahathir Admitted To IJN For Mild Heart Attack
KUALA LUMPUR, Nov 9 (Bernama) -- Former prime minister Tun Dr Mahathir Mohamad has been admitted to the National Heart Institute (IJN) here Thursday for mild myocardial infarct (mild heart attack).Dr Mahathir, who will be 81 next month, had complained of mild chest pains in the early hours today and was then admitted to the Coronary Care Unit (CCU) for observation, IJN said in a statement here.His condition is stable and he is expected to be kept under observation for one week.
